Question 1

When does ZTC AI open?

Accepted Answer

ZTC AI opens on 31 October. Until then, ZTC AI is in early access for selected accounts. The first 100 verified accounts get US$10 of credits (see Founding 100 below).

Question 2

What do Intelligence, Speed and Effort mean?

Accepted Answer

They are the three settings on the answer picker, or you can leave it on Auto. Intelligence sets how capable the answer is, from Basic to Expert, and ZTC AI never goes below the level you pick. Speed asks for a quicker answer within that level; if none is quick enough, you still get your level. Effort sets how long ZTC AI thinks before it answers. Higher settings cost more.

Question 3

Which AI does it use?

Accepted Answer

It is one AI. You do not choose a model. You choose how smart, how fast and how much effort, or leave it on Auto, and ZTC AI picks the way to answer.

Question 4

Does it get things wrong?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes. ZTC AI says so under every chat: it can make mistakes, so check anything important.

Question 5

Where is my chat history stored? Will it follow me to another device?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. You can chat in your browser, on your phone and on your computer, and each chat stays in the browser you used, so a chat from your phone is not on your computer. ZTC AI's servers do not keep your conversation history.

Question 6

Can ZTC AI search the web?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when you switch web search on. It is off until you do, and then the answer lists its sources. A search adds a flat price per search. With it off, ZTC AI answers from what it already knows.

Question 7

Can I attach photos and files?

Accepted Answer

Yes: use the paperclip, drop files on the box, or paste a photo. Photos (JPG, PNG, WebP; up to 4, 5 MB each) are read as part of your request. Documents (PDF up to 50 pages, TXT, MD, DOCX, CSV) are turned into text first. At most 25 MB of files per message. Files are used for that one request only and are not stored on our servers.

Question 8

How do credits work?

Accepted Answer

Credits are a pay-as-you-go balance held in your SUPER ZT account. Each request is charged for the tokens it uses, at the price of the Intelligence level and settings you chose.

Question 9

How much do credits cost?

Accepted Answer

1,000 credits = US$1. Each Intelligence level has its own price per million tokens, plus a small flat fee per request. The Pricing page shows the current numbers and worked examples.

Question 10

What is Founding 100?

Accepted Answer

The first 100 verified accounts get US$10 of credits. Sign up and verify your email before 31 October: 10,000 credits (US$10) are added at sign-up.

Question 11

Can I limit how much I spend?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When API keys open with the launch on 31 October, each key can carry its own spending limit, which you set in your SUPER ZT account. A service-wide daily cap applies on top of that.

Question 12

Does ZTC AI log what I ask?

Accepted Answer

No — prompt text isn't logged by default. Only billing and usage metadata (tokens, cost, timing) is recorded.

Question 13

Does the AI that answers see who I am?

Accepted Answer

No. The AI service that answers receives the text of your request, not who you are or which account sent it.

Question 14

Is ZTC AI end-to-end encrypted?

Accepted Answer

No — we don't claim end-to-end encryption or a trusted execution environment. What we do guarantee: chat history stays in your browser, and prompts aren't logged by default.

Question 15

Can I use it from my own tools?

Accepted Answer

Yes, API keys open on 31 October with the launch. ZTC AI works with the standard chat API format: set our base URL and send model: "ztc-ai". See the Docs page for the full reference.

Question 16

How do I get an API key?

Accepted Answer

API keys for your own code open with the launch on 31 October. You will create one in your SUPER ZT account, under API keys. It's a Bearer key you send like any other API key.

Question 17

Do I need a SUPER ZT account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You sign in with your SUPER ZT account to chat, and the same account holds your credits and, from the launch, your API keys.

Question 18

What is the ZTC Token?

Accepted Answer

Token content — how it works, buying and staking — lives on the ZTC Token site, not here.

Question 19

Where do I buy or stake the ZTC Token?

Accepted Answer

On the ZTC Token site.
